Hotel Calypso - Milan

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend stopover in Milan with fantastic value for money. The shared bathroom was always clean and well-stocked with essentials, making it convenient to get ready for the day. Avoid late-night walks in the surrounding area as it can feel a bit sketchy after dark.

The setting was quite good and excellent within easy reach of a major street. We thoroughly enjoyed being minutes from the train station.

Really had very enjoyable stay for one night. Fairly clean, low cost hotel with very welcoming and really helpful staff. Also located minute walk from the central station. Warm rooms with bathroom, a toilet inside, a short stay-bed, exceptionally nice location: )

Absolutely rude staff!

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean, warm, and had a big bathroom. It was just a few minutes' walk from the central station, made catching the shuttle bus to Bergamo airport super easy. Plus, two metro stations are nearby for city exploration 😊

Had a cozy stay! The owner greeted us warmly, and the room was clean with a private bathroom. Super close to the subway! Only downside was the noise outside at night, but it wasn't a huge deal after exploring Milan all day.

The room had a cozy feel with a comfortable bed inviting a good night's rest. A nice feature included a tv with entertainment after long days exploring Milan. The shower in the private bathroom was spacious, and the hot water was always available. The cleaning products' smell in the room was overpowering during arrival was good. The street noise at night was bothersome, especially with traffic constantly passing by. It felt slightly unsafe walking in the area late at night due to limited street lighting. The location near the subway was fantastic. The friendliness of the staff stood out, always greeting me with a smile and willing to help when possible, but language barriers occasionally made communication a challenge. I enjoyed the charming atmosphere, but some improvements in room cleanliness and soundproofing would enhance the overall experience.

The room was well-equipped with a TV, work desk, and a comfortable bed. Plus, the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Central Station and easy access to public transport, ensuring travel around Milan was easy.

The shower in the room offered fantastic water pressure and heat. The terrace's location was ideal for enjoying the surroundings. The entrance was tricky to navigate, and staff responsiveness varied. While some were helpful, one attendant displayed a dismissive attitude when asked about nearby dining options. Breakfast delivered to the room was disappointing, lacking quality and variety.

Staying at this hotel with my family, including my grown-up kids. The location was perfect, really close to public transport, and we found some great local shops right around the corner. It was convenient for all our city adventures.

In my wife's opinion, the noise from the street was bothersome at night.

Wi-Fi worked great, tv was nice, but no kettle in room. No pets allowed.

Couldn't recommend more for a couple of nights

Comfortable bed, immaculate bathroom, the bathroom facilities were maintained perfectly, and the hotel's central location made it easy to navigate to other attractions quickly.

The Calypso offered a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the Central railway station and within easy reach of Corso Buenos Aires, which has numerous shops and bars. The room was clean, and the shared bathroom was maintained well, providing plenty of hot water. Breakfast consisted of pre-packed pastries and beverages delivered to the room.

The noise from the street at night could be bothersome.
